Verizon has a special Z30 with inductive charging, if I were you, I'd buy from them directly rather then getting one without that feature!

    But they use the STA-100-3.

The Z30 is no longer available from Verizon. Hasn't been there for a while now and no info if it ever be available again.

Thank you! but since they don't sell the Z30 anymore where would you recommend me buying one from?

You cannot buy a CDMA phone that will work on Verizon unless it's one of their branded devices. So, you will have to find a used or refurb, I suppose.

I thought the Verizon Z30 was the only (sadly shortlived) CDMA Z30.

Yes, what I meant was, Shop BBerry etc. cannot just sell an off-contract CDMA phone (as they can a GSM), because it wouldn't work. You need a branded phone. There was a Sprint version announced, as I recall, but it never saw the (Sprint) light of day.
