what's the difference between the unlimited plan and the regular data and email plan?

    there's 2 options for it.

the regular is $30 and the unlimited is $45

    ???confused???

The regular is most likely a set amount of data that you can use each month whereas unlimited would be... well, unlimited.

The $30 plan is for BIS (personal email) and includes unlimited Web access. The $45 plan is for BES (corporate setup) and includes unlimited Web access as well as wireless PIM data sync.

If you could please fill out more info in your profile (such as your carrier) then it would be easier for other users to help you with your problems, since some are carrier specific.

    Thanks!!

And I think scottb hit the nail on the head with his answer!

I made an assumption since we are in the Verizon Wireless forum.

unless your business,if applicable, has BES (if they did you'd probably know), just go with

    -nationwide basic 450/900/1350/unlimited
-add email and web for blackberry ($30/month)

This is correct. If you are not on BES then the 30 plan is all you need for unlimited data and email access.
