I've been pretty impressed with the Bing search engine overall, so I wasn't adverse to having a client in my Storm. IT's nice, simple, "pretty" background.....BUT.....you can only use it in portrait with the numeric key-pad (on the Storm)....bummer man! All dressed up and....flop...

I believe it is a browser limitation for that link, as I can see it in landscape mode on non-BlackBerry devices.

Bing Maps are proving to be worlds better than Google, too.

Why does VZN feel the need to push new apps to our phones? Thats why the app store exist. Not so VZN can sign a contract get more money for having a program on a phone that customers don't want. I know why VZN and APPLE got into arguements about the proprietary software on the new Iphone when it comes to VZN

You don't have to download the app, just hide the link.

Why does BlackBerry feel the need to provide this functionality to the carriers?

If you got a real smartphone, you'd not have this issue.

Haven't seen it on mine, I wish verizon didn't push anything, have it on the browser as a bookmark, just my opinion

I just got that junk icon today on my phone and couldn't delete it. I'm not a msft guy and hate having it on there wasting space.

    Well, let's see here.

How about a capable browser, like Opera Mobile 9.5-9.7? Or Skyfire. Or even IE? Tabs & the ability to not choke when you click on the desktop link instead of the mobile one.

A multi-tasking UI. Widgets would be nice, too.

A keyboard on par with the TP2.

A speakerphone, like the TP2's that sounds better than a regular call on a BlackBerry.

No proxy server to slow me down or go down.
A Bold that can swim - see today's posts in Random Reps.

A screen resolution worthy of video.

Build quality that equals Apple, HTC or Samsung, instead of Moto.

WiFi that runs like WiFi should.

    Wireless sync.

Internet radio without the hokey apps.

    Full Bluetooth operation.

    Support for third-party BT drivers.

    No "pushed" apps.

    No need for service books.

    Animated interface.

I know - a series of tall orders - but hey - I have these things now.
