    Hey,

I'm wondering what phone I should get to tether with my iPod Touch. I'm thinking a Blackberry, but I really don't want to pay for data plans. Could you tell me a good phone to buy? Also, can you tether without a verizon data plan? I've seen programs that let you do this, but they look shady.

    Help me out!

Tethering is even more expensive than the required Verizon data plan.

Tethering without paying for the tethering feature is stealing.

If you have a 2nd gen touch, you might be able to tether via bluetooth.

The iPod Touch 3G doesn't have Bluetooth.

Even with a Data Plan and a Tethering Plan, you can't currently tether an iPod Touch to a BlackBerry. The Touch gets its internet connection via WiFi.

Just wait for Verizon MiFi 2200 EVDO t come out. And you can use your iPod with Verizon 3G network.
