How much do you pay for your data plan on your phones?

No. Have unlimited data for $30/month and use the app Tether (formerly tetherberry) for free tethering.

I've never heard of a $15 tethering plan. There is a $30 unlimited tether/hotspot plan for people who have the $29.99 unlimited data plan. Which is what I have.

Is the $30 tether plan truely unlimited, or is it still capped by your 4G data limit? Can you go over that 4G threshold if you use all that data from a laptop tethered to the phone?

I pay 29.99 for my web and mail and 15.00 for what they call mobile broadband connect. Unlimited for both.

I don't have a data limit because Im on the unlimited plan. So I can use as much data as I want.

Mine is $30. It is called mobile hotspot. I can use both usb tethering and mobile hotspot. I have Android though.

As much as I hate to say it, the VZW 3G network is so slow its almost useless to use this. At first I thought it was a BB thing, but my wife's iPhone does the same thing.

Hotspot if I choose to subscribe is 20 for me. I'll stick with bridging!

    Try Sprint! Lol

On average, I get 150kbps during "peak hours". Then it goes back to 1Mpbs at 2AM EST.

I never clocked it, but using Tetherberry and my 9930 with my Dell I get good speeds. I haven't had any slow browsing.
