something bigger and better will be out by 2013, as always Verizon is behind the times.
I would have to disagree with this. FIOS is fiber running straight to your house. No other company is doing that right now(as far as i know). Unless you pay the big bucks to get a T1 installed at your house.

Plus not to many other company's are offering 50mb down and 20mb up running into you house. the old company i use to work for only had a 10mb connection for backup and that was for about 600 office employees. We only had a fraction of a T1 for our main line.

I think they are looking for info on how they incurred $600 in data charges.

Verizon is wayy better then comcast. I had DSL at my house in MD, when FIOS came out the quality was 300x better then the Cable. DSL was at same speed 3megs, and felt twice as fast.

I still have FIOS in MD, but stationed in VA and have COX CABLE Modem, Verizon FIOS actually gets installed tomorrow. I cant wait to get back on Verizon. Customer support is great. Its nice knowing your on your OWN line, not sharing connections with the whole neighborhood (like on cable).

Speeds are better and faster, and less LAG.

+ the bundled services are great. Every penny counts... especially in todays economy.

FIOS not avail. here either...just a chance to bundle and get direct TV, which I dont like...

I was thinking of getting the verizon landline which offers unlimited local and long dist. for 49 bucks, and then cutting down my minute plan on my cell.

I've had Fios so long, my contract already expired! Waaay better than Cablevision. I don't have TV because they limit the number of boxes you can have. It used to be 7, now its 10. I need more than that for all my TV's, VCR's, Media Center PC's, etc.
