Hey guys, I recently installed PDA Net on my black berry tour to get around paying the extra $30 a month verizon wants for tethering. However when I did this the connection was a lot slower. The verizon tethering was able to do 1.5mb down and .6 mb up. With PDA net it was .7 mb down and .4 mb up.

Has anyone had similair results? Does the connection speed up once you buy the software? Also has anyone tried the verizon tethering compared to the tetherberry software?

Help would be greatly appreciated. I just want to keep the same connection speed and not pay the $30 a month... If thats possible.

Oh and hey guys nice to meet you all, this is my first post.

this si a very big risk as we have seen it over and over again people trying to get around the tethering fee and in the long run it comes back to bite you as we have seen people get thousand or more dollar phone bills once they are caught.. its a huge risk that i wouldnt wanna take but its your option and ive heard tetherberry is prob the best tethering software
