i was told one was for unlimited data usuage (downloading email, surfing etc) and the other had a limit? Nothing about BIS and BES.

This is on ym plan for personal use should I change the plan?

It may be for a limited amount of bytes. IMHO I'd go with the unlimited Plan, that way you don't have to worry about your usage.

I spoke with Verizon Today about this. There two plans have changed. The 24.99 a month plan has a 5mb limit. the 44.99 plan has a unlimited amount of data. That is the only differance, now that they have changed them.

She said they usually try and talk people into starting with the 44.99 and then downgrade because if you go over it gets expensive.

Need to check into this myself. Was under the impression the cheaper one was for personal useage and the other for corporate.

I think she gave you some phony information. I just signed up last month, and was told the only difference between the two is what CrackBlack said. On the $29.99 plan, you only get the BIS service, which includes unlimited data. With the $44.99 plan, if your work uses a BlackBerry Enterprise Server, you will be allowed to connect to that to get your corporate email on your BlackBerry.

I'm on the $29.99 plan, and have unlimited data.

I'm paying $29.99/mo for BIS- unlimited e-mail and data. The BES is $44.99 for unlimited on the enterprise system. I signed up in mid June.

I logged into my account, and only place it mentions anything about my Blackberry plan is under "Additional features" towards the bottom and it states simply "EMAIL & WEB FOR BLACKBERRY".

Personally, I pay $59.99/mo for 900 anytime minutes + $29.99/mo for unlimited email & data access (which I was told by the rep I would receive).

maybe i should call and ask if there is a specific unlimited data plan...

i have the unlimited txt message option (which I would guess somehow equates to unlimited data)... but i am finding with jivetalk and BBmessenger i do not need unlimited txt....

this is my current plan "NATIONWIDE EMAIL & MSG 450 MINS UNL BBERRY + N&W + IN + MSG $99.99" its all bundled together no separate charge for data or voice

does anyone know if VZW will charge me a penalty if i switch to a cheaper plan?
