I was wondering if this phone I have will work internationally. I was hoping to take it to Europe with me, but pointless if I cannot use it for email or anything.

    This was bought in Wyoming.

    Thanks!

your curve is CDMA only, you'll need a quad band device, or a GSM only device.

currently the storm and the 8830 WE both support GSM roaming, and they offer a data plan to use with no extra roaming charges.

while you're there, calls and txt will be charged per roaming rate determined by the carrier you're roaming on (voda, o2, etc...)

call VZW and see what they'll offer you.

If you do not seed data, there is motorola Z6C that will work. IT is a duel band device. Again depends on there you are going. If you are foing to certain countries, and there are only like 8 of them, then they will will rent you a samsung renoun. This quad band - no data. If you already have a blackberry you can rent a BB 8830.
