Got a new Verizon Blackberry Curve 8530 as an insurance replacement for my 8330 due to the 8330 being replaced multiple times. I work for sprint and the tech at verizon said I could get the verizon curve 8530 on the sprint network. Does anybody know how that is done? I checked and the ESN is not in the sprint system.

Can't be done. US CDMA carriers will not allow you to bring another carriers
device onto their network. The VZW tech probably meant that Sprint also
    carries the 8530.

I doubt it and verizon is crazy about locking down their network.

    Both networks are CDMA.

Its not possible as they are two different network types(cdma and gsm) and verizon is crazy about locking down their network.
Sprint and VZ are both cdma. That's the problem. Cdma carriers won't add a device that they didn't sell to their system.

For some reason I always thought they were different but nevermind.
