So I'm looking at my Vzw bill wondering why some of these things are difffernt on each bill

    1. Fed Universal Service Charge..
    2. Regulatory Charge
    3. Administrative Charge
    4. NJ 911 System/Emerg. Resp. Fee

Also, how is the tax calculated. is it for each line? so for example, my main line is 90.00 so is it just the (main line) x (state tax) or (main line + fees & charges) x (state tax)?

How do they calculate the usage charge when you upgrade before you billing period ends?

Does anyone have the same plan as me? if so, how much do you pay per month??

-Nationwide Select Share 700 (4 lines)
    -Blackberry Data ($29.99)

They're different because they're a % of your line including usage charges. So if you have a 411 call, an overage txt message, whatever. Your taxes will vary.

The taxes are calculated on a per line basis which is why the secondary line is lower.

I never knew that.. My main line is about $80 a month and the rest are between $20 and $50 a month.

Taxes are billed according to your zip code. Some citiescharge sales tax on voice service only, others on the total monthly charge, some even on usage charges.

Fed univ serv fee is a verizon charge and varies quarterly. Sometimes it goes, sometimes it goes down. It is a % of your service charges.

Regulatory and admin charges are verizon set as well and are flat monthly amounts. It looks like "line 2" was new in the month you got this data from...

911 fees are set by your local government.

It's probably because you have different MDN addresses attached to each mobile #. You should ensure your tax address is correct by going to your myverizon and logging in.

True, except we are a military family and are still officially Texas residents (no state income tax). We are getting the best of both worlds!

No sales tax and our employee discount saves us around $50 a month.
