    So from what I've read about 4G, currently none of the new blackberries have support for 4G so we'll have to wait for RIM to update their hardware in newer blackberries?
    That is correct - no current BlackBerrys have 4G radio support & software can't update into it.

    Even the BlackBerrys reported to be in the pipeline do not have LTE support.

    If development keeps going the way it has been there will be one in 2011. 2010 is unlikely...

    there will be no handsets for awhile... all LTE devices that will be tested in seattle and boston by the end of this year will be data cards.

    The post that talked about LTE having low orbit satellites to fall back on, I'm a little bit new at understanding how these networks operate, is this due to the technology being IP based and would this make coverage basically flawless, even where there were dead areas before?
