I've checked BB LINK but no update yet for Australia. Maybe only US and Canada first?

Nope just looks like Verizon in the US so far but I'm sure the Canadian carriers will launch tomorrow morning.

Did you load up the 1926 radio with your leak? Because if you used the auto loaders in the forums, then those included 1899 radio as well. The 1926 radio was a separate file that was leaked later on.

I did load the 1926 radio file and now that I think about it, the 1926 probably made it different enough for the upgrade to take. But I also wonder because 1926 would be a higher build for the radio file. Or am I not thinking correctly about this?

I realize it does. But so did the leak unless you specifically loaded up the 1926 radio yourself.

What is the difference between 1899 and 1926? Is 1926 better in anyway? Have you noticed any changes if you had 1899 and now have 1926?

For me on my Z30, 1926 actually caused a lot of battery drain. I went back to 1899 which was good for me. Many reported that 1926 was great for their battery life so not really sure.

Hmm that's odd because I would think the same thing you're thinking regarding the higher build. Needless to say, looks like 1899 radio is what verizon tested so it's safe to stay with that version.

I got the update Friday OTA, however it never showed on my wife's Z10. I just connected to Link and the update hit, showed downloaded and error when it attempts to install. Guess I will check in the morning to see if they deliver as stated. If anyone has a work around, let me know.

In Canada on the Koodo (Telus) network and nothing yet OTA or via BB Link. I am assuming tomorrow morning will be the launch date for us.

I successfully downloaded the new OS through BlackBerry Link - very nice and smooth. Then, a few minutes ago received an update notification OTA that an update was available, with same version number. Except only 3 MB. Did that and only difference between the two updates is that icon for BlackBerry Virtual Expert is now gone. It appears in My BlackBerry World but no icon now. Anyone else?

Do a power cycle reboot? Even remove, reboot reinstall?

Tried multiple times last week with no luck. Then, this afternoon, after hearing that the link was live again, I tried again. Three attempts got to 78% and then failed. I gave up for a couple of hours and tried one last time. That one made it to 100%. The device was exceptionally sluggish initially as the hub reconfigured itself. The phone was also pretty hot as well. However, now things have calmed down and I'm enjoying all of the 10.2.1 goodness. Google Maps looks native and my Costco app works perfectly. I love the App Monitoring and the new Password Keeper with native backup capabilities. This is definitely a nice upgrade. Good job BlackBerry! Well done!

I only hope that the battery drain I've been experiencing calms down. Right now it's killing it....

For me, the call quality on 1899 was terrible. Resolved that with 1926.

Yes non destructive since it's an official update. I would still do a back up first to be safe.

I have a friend that is a dev for Blackberry. he told me that it would take a coupke days for the update to settle and synch with all of your apps and data. he said that after that happens, you should see the battery life improve greatly.
