We all have heard all the stories now about the Tour->Bold miracle for some, controversy for others. Considering the cycle though of the Tours and their trackball issues and high return rates isn't it a little suspicious that they would suddenly run out of refurbs to ship out?

    thoughts, dreams, inspirations?

When a company runs out of stock of a product, they have to produce something to the customer. The company itself is under agreement as well to make sure the customer has a operating device to use on their contract plan... If not then the customer does have action against them for not providing a device to use their service.

That I understand... it's just how did they run out on such a grand scale at this point in the Tour's life?

If no more orders were placed from RIM then they can run out easy.. Since the EOL was sent out a while back......... Normally with that, no orders will be placed.....

Never happened with 9530 > 9550...and 9530 EOL date has been quite a bit longer.

Maybe it happened on a select few...but not even a fraction of what just happened.

they are still sending out EOL 9530's to this very day
