The "D" next to the checkmark when sent to other Verizon users doesn't come up anymore. Anyone know why/what it means/how to fix it?

They stopped the delivery notification as of this week to free up the network.

You have an option to voice your concern about the "D". Call VZW at 800-922-0204, they are set up to take and note your concern. Also if you have a MY VERIZON account online you write to the company from there. Management is listening.

This is true. I work in the Irvine, CA call center. Since we stopped doing the delivery acknowledgment, I've actually only received one call about it.

Yeah , the "d" is a nice feature , but it doesn't seem very hopeful for its continuance based on that info.....

It will take time...get the word to call or write. I bet most people have not even noticed yet in the areas that have been shut off. I am sure the call will increase over time.

Is there any indication of the amount of response required to turn things around and reinstate our little "d" friend?

I am going to call VZW on this one. The "d" is a very useful and reassuring feature that I would like to see to continue in the future.

Just called and the VZW rep said that they are currently taking a poll on this topic and that he would pass my vote along. It only took about 2 min to do this so I would encourage everyone to call if you do in fact like the "d"!

I know this is a verizon thread but, I just had to say I'm on ATT and I hope they dont follow suit. That is a very nice feature to have.

That feature was never reliable with my experience. I'd see the d or not see it and the message always went through. Go ahead and junk it. Never worked right anyway.
