    Hey Everyone.

I'm going to attempt to keep this short, and simple.
I have a Verizon account, obviously, with 4 lines currently.
I had 3 lines prior to having to add a 4th one to get BOGO on two 9650's.

I have NO use for the 4th line, I want to suspended it.
Can I suspend it until the contract is up next year?
    Am I feed for this?
    What happens?

I have never suspended a line before, and I would like to have these questions answered before I suspend the line.

Thank you very much for taking the time to read this~

You can only suspend an account for 3 months at a time and only twice in a calendar year and it costs 15.00 each time. You can suspend it without billing BUT, Verizon being the clever things that they are (they figured people would try this), will extend your contract the length of time that it is suspended without billing. Therefore, it is pointless to suspend it. Hope this info helps.

The easiest thing to do is to have Verizon activate an old ESN that doesn't require data. Than you'll only pay 9.99 a month.

That's what I was attempting to do online, but MyVerizon kept saying my LG Chocolate needed a smart-phone data plan. I guess I'll attempt to try again at a later date.

No, it's the LG Chocolate VX8550.
I attempted to do this at an earlier time, before I was in this situation and MyVerizon gave me the option of the $9.99

$9.99 is the Feature Phone price. Smartphone data price is $29.99.

Ok, but you said in an earlier post that you had to put a "smartphone plan" on your LG Chocolate, then you mentioned something about 9.99.

I just thought you didn't know the difference.

Are you sure it didn't give you these options:

    Pay per Use 1.99/MB
    9.99 25 MB Plan
    29.99 Unlimiited MB plan

Because that phone does not require it, so you can select the pay per use option. If online doesn't help, you may have to call in.

    THANK YOU!
I just did it again, and this time it showed those options.
I can not thank you enough!
