Nothing that shouldn't have already been done since you turned the phone on and installed the initial update at launch. This OS Software upgrade is the one that was pushed to all Verizon Z10's since launch day. Unless you decided to skip that update than you should already have it installed. If you swipe down, go to Setting->About->General It will show you your Software Release, and you can also click the drop down menu and select OS which will give you further details about the OS Version.

On the pdf from Verizon that explains this upgrade it states, "Improved Network Extender support", but like I said this upgrade should have come the day the phone was turned on. You will get request to re-install this update if you delete any of the Verizon pre-installed apps, such as Box, dropbox, LinkedIn, Foursquare, Facebook, Twitter, etc.

I downloaded it a few days ago and it just put back some icons I had deleted. When I did a 'check for updates' yesterday, it wanted to send it to me again. Did not download it again since it seems insignificant.

Waiting for 10.1 to magically appear!

Yeah this happened to me too. Basically if you delete and Verizon pre installed apps, and then his the 'check for updates' button, it will show an 'update of a few megs that will restore those app icons. Don't worry about installing it. You will just have to delete those apps again.

Is that just a Verizon thing? I never had that issue when I updated on US Cellular. It's easy enough to delete the apps again, but who wants to?

Every time you delete them on VZW it tells you there is an OS update. And it puts them back in an 11Mb file. Crazy.

One thing BB10 needs is the old "hide" the folder trick. I used to always dump my trash apps in a folder called, well,"trash" and then hide it. It was nice for reducing clutter.
