    It might help if VZW actually taught customer service, listening & problem solving skills & didn't concern themselves with training the old union work concept of call sequencing. )

    Call sequencing makes the rep sound like a dope (think blonde with shoulder pads) while coming off as condescending, too. But it is quantifiable by any dummy (even peon-level call center management) in a review.

    Still mad about the VIP thing? I don't think that they all stick to the scripts. I had a CSR look through this site with me for a specific case for my Storm because I want something specific that VZW didn't offer. They've always been really helpful to me.

    we have scripts for one reason...
    to pass our quality scores. If it werent for that... ppfffft on scripting.
    Sides some people feel more at ease when they are being scripted to. You want to hear scripting. Get a prepaid phone then call prepay customer service. Now THAT is scripting!
