Ouch - smile a bit. Relax. Keep the temper in check. Don't use the Lord's Name in vain. Find that old sense of humor I know you still have.

Then know you'll love me again later.

On July 17th I ported a number from VZW to AT&T.
On August 8th I ported the number back to VZW from AT&T.
On August 13th I ported the number from VZW to TracFone.

The AT&T and VZW service was canceled within the 30 day trial period. The only charge was for the service used. There were no problems in porting the number. Like others have stated just make sure you port the number BEFORE you cancel the service.

I am waiting for the 9700 to come out and will be going back to AT&T when it does.

Not quite the same - you started with a VZW line, then ported - at the time of the initlal port, the number was established as yours & subsequent ports were irrelevant, as you brought your own number.

Thanks for all the replies in this thread. I decided to just stick with VZW, because I don't want to deal with the headache and the (probable) ETF.
