My wife's boss needs a quad band BB for use on Verizon. Not being a Verizon user myself and after she was told the 8830 would suffice her travel needs, she has recently found herself dead communications wise in some countires.

So...what can you offer for her?

Its not offered on verizon. Because the 850 and 1900 gsm bein avail in north american The 8830 offers cdma for north america and 900 and 1800 gsm for outside NA. I could be wrong but all countries outside north america run on either 900 or 1800 or cdma. Chance are if she didn't have signal on the 8830 she wouldn't on a quad either.

The 8830 is likely to be EOL'ed before too long anyway.

The Storm is a CDMA and quad-band GSM/UMTS phone that should work just about anywhere.

Agreed on the 8830. Would be better to get the Storm to make sure she has coverage everywhere she goes.
