Ok so I get my NE2 in May switching from enV and im definetly getting a blackberry for college, it would be really helpful for email and internet. Now I know form all my research that Verizon is getting the Niagara (kinda like the Bold)and the Jupiter (New Curve) somewhere around May which is perfect for me cause of my NE2..My question is I have not seen anything on price information. Would the Niagara be the same as the Storm or more cause the Bold is 100 bucks more than the iPhone on ATT??Would the Jupiter be 199/150 bc i can only assume that all three verizon BB wont be 199 with new contract???Any info on prices for the new BB CDMA's would be much help and thank you cannot wait to join the ADDICTION IN MAYYYYY

I haven't seen anything official on either phone myself. There is very little concrete info out there known about the devices themselves much less the price. I'm sure all that will be coming in the not so distant future.

I wouldn't get to excited. Knowing Verizon, it will be delayed. But it will beworth the wait.

Could someone point me to where I may find a spec. sheet on the niagara?

I am a Storm user and happy with it, but the niagara sounds like a great second BB.

whats the difference between the two? I work for VZW in marketing and we've yet to hear about either...normally we'll have an idea or have to do training on the device....nothing yet...I just know I dont like the storm and cant wait for a newer phone....even though I love my curve.

I believe the price of either phone is going to be around the same as your first born child... And as always it looks like it's going to be a typically long and arduous labor for vzw to finally push these models out.

Yup & VZW delayed every Sprint/USCell/Alltel phone too because they are so slow at releasing things.

VZW knew & tested the specs long before - as soon as RIM releases it, VZW sells it.

RIM delayed the Bold AND the Thunder (Storm). It wasn't AT&T & it wasn't VZW.

I to heard around May/June but I also would bet on it. I mean look at what happened with the Storm. It was promised October then November then late November. So just wait it's coming.

But the Curve came on time.

The Storm was all new. RIM had to work out some problems. The Bold is an existing unit in need of CDMA. As such, the development has already been completed.

according to the genius report, its going to have aGPS vs dual mode GPS like the storm. I hope we don't see the same problems with blocked GPS as we currently see on the curve...

I'd bet niagara is 249.99 with 2 year plus a $50 rebate. Curve should be 199.99 with 2 year plus $50 rebate.

I'm gonna guess a little more for the Niagara, more like 349 and then a 50 or 70 rebate. Don't forget it will have a better processor than the Storm and is geared more towards business users who are generally willing to pay more.
