Is there any possible way I can get a plan on verizon with no minutes? As far as I could tell on the website the only plan with no voice minutes (push-to-talk only) was not compatible with blackberry.
I get literally around 20 junk calls a day from my bank and randoms, with too many different numbers to block them all.. I changed my number a few months ago and it only helped for a short time.
So I decided I would like to just use my BB for texts and emails and web browsing, and to just get a different phone and number for voice calls, and not give out that number.
Is there any way I can switch my BB plan to no minutes, or at least have all my calls forwarded to voicemail?

They did away with the (forget the exact price) 50ish per month Data plan with no minutes (minutes charged per use only)?

Just so this looks like I am not ignoring your question. I cannot comment on this plan.

That sounds like a plan - do your VZW keepers not want it actively offered?

maybe get youmail app for your vm and then set your greeting to a disconnected line recording and set the number of rings to 0 or 1. set it up online to get the greetings and stuff.

Its okay - it just seems that everytime there is a need for something, someone comes along & throws out some way to make YouMail fix it.

You can get one of the plans intended for the hearing impaired that include no minutes, there's no qualification for them.

Typed in "hearing impaired" on Verizon's site and it came up. $34 and $54 Data only plans.

Yeah I was going to suggest that. Sprint has a $29 Relay plan that gives unlimited text & phone data + 5GB PAM for $29.99 so I assumed Verizon had it too.

If you're getting solicitation calls on your phone, you can register with donotcall.gov and you can call your bank and "opt out" (assuming they aren't calling because you owe them money).

I was thinking that you probably owe them money. That would be the only reason they would call so many times in a day. But what's wrong with using the ignore button. It sends the call right to voicemail.
