    It isn't the iPhone, BlackBerry, Droid, or Pre. A Windows Mobile phone is the official phone of the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics. The Samsung Omnia II with AMOLED screen, 800MHz processor, Windows Mobile 6.5 & all the trimmings. Pound sand, RIM, Apple & Google!

    They paid, but many manufacturers wanted their flagship devices to be the official phone. I hear two manufacturers offered more, but were turned down.

    And no, I don't know which - could have been any of them. But Samsung has a history of supporting these venues & is much more philanthropic than many companies - so they probably got in as a package deal. You will probably see Samsung video panels all over the games.
