The blackberry I recently bought has no PRL on it. Is it possible to manually download it and place on the phone? Verizon already tried to push it through the phone with the A-Key option. Any ideas?

I think you can dial *228.

Has no prl on it, which I can't make no calls due to its not connected to any network. No roaming no bars etc. Once I get the prl on it I can activate the phone, so I'm stuck atm.

Did you try cycling the *228 codes as in *22800, *22801, *22802, *22803, etc. to see if it will connect to the activation system? I'm just suggesting this though I've never had a device with no PRL on it.

Just a thought, did you try resending the service books from BlackBerry Internet Service and then see if that will force the device to register on the network, and get the info it needs. Also, you can try going into Host Routing Table in options, click menu, and select register.

Try: ## 000000, SEND, to get into manual programming. see if you can add anything that way. i don't know the codes for roaming though.

Have you tried that? Is that what you did when you said A Key?
