Here’s an update of the newest Bold phone from Blackberry. RIM confirmed that Blackberry Bold 9650 will be released and shipped on May 23, 2010 to Sprint Nextel and Verizon customers. It was reported that the price is $200.00 USD, after a $100 mall-in rebate. Pretty cheap huh? Yes, because that’s for Sprint Nextel and Verizon customers only.

Venturing a guess it's going to be either the 16th or the 23rd when Sprint gets it too. Thinking of holding off until OS6 comes out.... My Tour runs great on the update, no real issues. Debating....

    Ship on a Sunday ?

Come to think about it, the 9630 was released to the stores on a Sunday.
Keep an eye on Best Buys weekend ads.

$200 after mail-in rebate is cheap? Meaning I would have to pay $300 up front? No way, that's not cheap at all considering I can get the a better phone in the HTC Incredible for $200 without having to deal with mail-in rebates which I may or may not get back. The 9650 needs to have a price point of below $150 w/ 2yr without any mail in rebates or their going to lose a lot of people that aren't required to have a blackberry...including me.

It's BRAND NEW so yeah it will be high. I didn't say it was cheap for my pockets. Of course, I wouldn't wanna drop the dough on a phone at the moment considering I got my Tour 9630 in January. Maybe I can do an insurance claim.
