I have a curve on Verizon and it is high speed similar to 3G. If Verizon gets the Niagara will it be high speed like the Curve? Also will the Thunder be high speed? EVDO or whatever Verizon uses?

Which one is on the Curve? If it is as fast as the Curve I will be happy.

Curve is Rev 0, if the curve was on Rev A, you would see even faster speed out of it.

Thanks Lastraid, I at least know that it will be faster than AT&T's edge.

Are you sure? Correct me if i'm wrong, but my 8830WE is Rev A. So why wouldn't a curve be the same?

The Curve is rev 0. Not only do the specs say so, but speed tests confirm it (about 300Mbs). I don't know about the 8830, but according to VZW sales lit, their only current phone with rev A is the LG Dare.

THat has not been updated yet. Also the Motorola 750 and Gzone Boulder are Rev. A. Both of these new devices are PTT (Puch To Talk) phones.
