    got it on thursday, took me an hour to download all the apps i like and set up my email and have not looked back yet. i type on my bb a lot and my fingers used to get sore from the ridges on the 8830 keyboard because they are so dry from cleaning my hands with calstat 100 times a day. i am also a huge fan of the look, size, weight and of course the camera. I do have a question, i used to have the hardest time putting the memory card in my 8830 as well as the curve. how do you guys do it with out taking the metal thing off?

    How is the audio quality when making a call?
    I can hear people loud and clear and the speakerphone seems to be pretty loud too....the only thing that slightly bothers me is that the ringers don't seem very loud and I have them set on "loud" in my profiles...i have heard curves much much louder on at&t and tmobile

    It's glorious!

    No dislikes so far. Just traded up from the original Moto Q.
    Same here...have had my 8330 for just over 2 weeks, a bit of a learning "curve" from the Q but I could never go back...finding out new things everyday from this forum and from messing with my Curve. Best decision I made was getting a Curve.

    Just got my Curve yesterday. So far, I LOVE IT!
    Specifically:
    1. The Trackball - Beats the snot out of the clickwheel - much easier navagating, especially in the browser.
    2. Location of the SD micro card - I know, it seems pretty inconvenient, but I've lost 2 SD cards when I had the treo 650. (In my past life) The stupid things would just pop out! With the curve, there's really no way to lose it.
    3. Size and weight - Perfect! Not too heavy or big.
    4. Camera - Great pictures for a cellphone.
    5. General layout/look of OS - Much easier on the eyes, compared to my old 8703e.

    I haven't had a chance to fully test the video or audio yet, but there's plenty of time for that!

    The Memory functions the same way, only thing is that the Pearl has hardly any memory to work with. This phone has like 5 times the memory the pearl has. My pearl would run around 10-12 MB and go down pretty quick before needing to do a reset. The Curve just chills around 40MB and have not see it get lower than 30 yet. Im sure i could even free up some more memory by removing apps that I dont use but I don't see that being necessary.

    Love love love my bb. Switched from a razr. The qwerty keyboard, mp3s,the way it looks....the ONLY thing I don't like is locking the keyboard,I've always had flip phones so it takes some getting used to. But ****, if that's the only thing I can come up with, I'm a pretty happy girl

    Pearl = 64MB
    Curve = 96MB

    5x64=320 /= 96MB Total

    5x12=60 /= 40MB Free

    I think your math is a bit off...

    i love my curve 8310 red. I paid full price the day it came out. I feel the trackball feels flimsy but thats it. I am going to ditch this thing for the bb 9000 bold the day it comes out.

    Likes-it has this cool program that you can download that'll wipe your *** for you

    Dislikes-keys are too small, esp around the alt button as that is creating some problems for me, it is slow at times, no html email, thank you bb smart viewer, but no thank you for the 30 dollar fee

    I like it quite a bit. Upgraded yesterday from the pearl, mainly so I could get more memory and stop dealing with the stupid memory leaks.

    My only issue as of now is that the keys are a bit small for my big hands... I ALWAYS hit "b" instead of "n". Seriously 90 percent of the time... Guess that's what I het for being used to the pearl.

    I think the sd slot behind the battery is a good location. On the pearl, it seemed like it was a bit iffy sometimes... Mostly I was worried about the door on the thing.

    Screen looks great. I have two dead pixels on mine, though... But I have to be real close, so oh well.

    So, I gotta say I love this thing so far. I can always update if I change my mind
