How do you spot a refurb?

2 phones in question are storm 1 and a tour.

On a old 8330 from alltel it would say refurb on the "about" screen.

They will usually have a grotesque hump, some type of rash and a tiny brown dot on the upper right left side of the screen.

I also heard that they have a strange amount of hair growing on the battery cover.

If a refurb, go to Options/about and scroll down and it will show if a refurb and on what date.
