    5 phones,
    1 BB BIS Data plan
    2 phones have insurance.

That includes my 15% off my plan and 12% off my data.

We don't have a landline, so this is our only phone for my family of 5.

I pay $210 for 700 min. family plan with 5 phones. Unlimited in calling/nights/weekends/text/picture/video, 2 blackberry data plans and insurance. I was paying $20 more for 1000 min (5 year old plan) but no free texting. Not too many minutes on this plan but my kids mostly text and I never go over <knocking on wood>

I am with Verizon and have 450 minutes and data (unlimited), however no texting and its around 63.00. I prefer to email anyway! Verizon Wireless has been good to me at all times, with great customer service. I think that its a pretty good deal, no complaints.

No one ever VZW is the cheapest carrier, or even mid range. VZW is most likely more expensive then most carriers and will even tell you this if you ask, but you get what you pay for. It is mind boggling to me how much money is re-invested in the network for improvements. This is a carriers bread and butter as well as the customer service given. The customer serivce in many cases is the main difference of why people will stay with any service based company. With todays phone business the main differnece between carriers IMHO, is their network, customer service, and pricing. Features and service for the most part are the same.

After most disasters and I hear this from customers of other carriers as well, that VZW customers, for the most part are able to use their phones. VZW has a whole army of portable Towers, generators, and other equipment needed to make this happen. there are also many many other things I can think of, but I do not wish to write a book at the moment, it is dang early.

I also understand that in most cases this will not matter to most, as much as the bottom th their wallets and does my phone work where I live.

Thank you for listening to babbling and have a nice day

Its going to drop though soon because we dont use more than 500 mins a month.....(and by "we", I mean my GF doesnt, because I dont talk ever!)....and I wont be needing tethered modem once we get highspeed DSL started.
