Hi, I am about to get rid of a Droid and Blackberry Bold I have with Verizon... Situation is that I am using my Bold now and still have a contract. If I put an old verizon phone I have now on my account, will both my bold and droid ESNs be clear?

As long as you keep the account active (If under contract) then yes they will free the ESNs.

Just call them and tell them you are selling the phones.

I would do the sale locally and meet the buyer at a verizon store just to make sure he/she activates them properly.

As long as you put an old phone on the line that your phones that you want to sell. You can't sell a phone that's active even if you cancel. It will put those ESNs on suspension. So all you need to do is activate an old phone and that will free them up.
