I have always been curious how everyone gets all their phones! Every time there is a new phone released...they get them! What am I missing? I am a total phone geek and love having new phones haha...please share!

Most on here that have new phones all the time are carrier employees and get a substantial discount. At least one tests them for a living, and several others have way too much money to spend

Its simple. Take 4 of your oldest relatives who think technology peaked with two tin cans being strung together, add them on as lines on your family share and use their upgrades. Sell old phone on ebay, craigslist, etc.

    That's how I do it

Usually I pay retail, but this time I added an extra line to get it at a discounted price. I found this:

    Storm 2 (2 yr price): 179
    ETF: 175
    TOTAL: $354

$354 vs. $539 (full retail price) and I sold my Storm 1 for 200 on ebay.

I used the ne2 on my line for storm2 and the annual upgrade in my wires line for Tour. Any others will be purchased at full price.

pretty much what they said. I am an employee but still as a customer must wait until my NE2 to upgrade. I know I could manipulate things to get it early, but I like to set a good example.

Which is why Verizon is rumored to be increasing the ETF.

Er....employees do not get NE2 credits. And they don't wait 20 months for upgrades either.

ah... okay, I'm off work now...
I found a known issue article posted as of the 5th of Nov for the Curve 2.
    Sent the article to Lastraid.
States about s/w updates avail by Dec. Figure it will be out Black Friday.
Nothing on launch dates but the resolution and work around dates tell me it will be this month.
Yet another training I'll be having to do...

You do if you have a consumer account that you had since WAY prior to working for verizon. Especially if its in your man's name.

I have to laugh at the people who are calling you a scammer. You are doing nothing wrong or illegal. I also get a chuckle when Verizon makes the rules but gets mad when customers follow the rules and then it doesn't work out to Verizon's advantage.

Hopefully, the higher ETF will drive customers away from buying from Verizon.
