From what I've been able to glean via searching here, I take it all one needs to do to clear the ESN is to call Verizon to verify that it is indeed clear and can be used by someone else? I recently upgraded to a Bold and now have a Pearl to sell. There's not much sense in keeping it as a backup since I'm now on AT&T and could never use it there. Thanks.

Yep, that's all that needs to be done.

As long as it was not a non pay disconnect, fraud disconnect, not reported lost/stolen to us, or had an insurance claim on it is free to use.

Ah...very good. It's a clean phone, that is, there's nothing hinky about it. I've had it since it was first taken out of the box and it wasn't shut off due to non-pay. Thanks for the help folks.

How much are you selling it for. I am interested in buying one.
