lol, those aren't even close to big bills!

I had to credit a customer over $80,000 due to a store changing a BBA card to pda, pay as you go, the guy used like 10GB at $.015/kb

    That was a fun day.

These bills do not sound real at all. To be billed between $14,000 - $80,000 for one month on a data card. From what I know they stop billing the customer at $250.00 as a security measure. It sounds like a fish story.

Sorry but I am not a believer.

lol not our fault if you don't get it.

The cap you are talking about was initiated 2 months ago, this bill was in jan or fed of '08.

these kinds charges are the REASON why there is now a charge cap...

Nah, It didn't have to go to him, West Area VP or Pres.

It was a pretty obvious error, the guy actually called in laughing. He's started by saying :" it says my bill is 84 thousand or something." He was a good sport about the whole thing, The rep who did the change had some fun conversations with leadership i'm sure!

All Verizon is known to be a big Bill reason i will never go Verizon! i seen one in the $3,000's before

    ****edit*****
Just text my friend that works at a Verizon store near here and he said the highest bill he saw for Verizon was $4,924 it had a lot of overage minutes and overage Text and Data
I've been with: AllTell, T-Mob and now VZW (for 4 years now). I don't see any difference in terms of "just known for a big bill." My bill has always been at my agreed upon monthly rate. Lots of corporations have seemingly large bills and of course, there are always the individual cases of overages.

My bill is less than $100/mo. with the data plan and I keep my text message to under my plan number and all works well!

I got a check for $.01 once from work. I thought that was just awesome.

The paper the check was made from was actually worth more than what was printed on it...

Just a word about BBA overages.. Those who had a bill over $250 had probably gone over before Oct 2008 or had trumped the 5gigs more than twice in a row at which point the customer has been educated about the limit and that Mobile BBA is not a home Internet solution to replace DSL/Cable/Satellite.

That is the most common reason for overages. People who use the service as an "always on" solution. I spoke to a girl who had hit 5 gigs inside of 3 hours of activation because she had d/l 4 movies, and was watching YouTube videos while streaming 192K music the whole time. Her parents hadn't explained to her how the plan worked before sending her and the USB modem off to college.

My largest bill (after my discount) was $340 with 2 new devices, data plans and VZnav, and unlimited text. Normal bill now with 3 devices and all of the above is about $100.

Biggest customer bill.. $240,000. But that was a billing error.
