    Over the last ten days, all browsers for bb have gone "wacko" and won't allow the users to connect. Some of you may know the fix, and I'm sure some have no clue.

    Here it is.
    Enter options > Advanced options> service books:
    - locate "Blackberry Internet Browsing Service"
    - Press menu button, select delete. Select yes/delete.
    - Make sure it has been deleted.
    - Press Menu button, Select undelete.
    - Then locate IPPP for BIBS [IPPP]
    - Press menu, select delete, select yes/delete.
    - Press menu button, select undelete.

    Check your browser. Bring up a page or two and if it works, your all set. If that doesn't work, software update may be needed.

    Anytime I have browser issues I send the service books and I'm good to go

    My browser (and icon) disappeared mysteriously yesterday (Monday, 12/29/08) afternoon sometime. I checked the forums and found this fix that worked like a charm:

    Blackberry Options
    Advanced Options
    Host Routing Table
    (options)--> Register Now

    Ta-daaaa. Still not sure why it disappeared, but it's back now. Silly Blackberry/Verizon. I still love you...

    I'm not sure. All I know is I had at least 30 calls about it throughout the week.

    My browser icon disappeared for the first time yesterday, i got it back right away but i still thought it was strange. I did not change or install anything prior, one second and it was gone...
