I started my family plan with a bb storm last summer. I'm not the primary line. Here's my understanding. I wouldn't be subject to the advanced device fee, because I purchased before november. I'd be subject to the $175 minus $5 per month, and I'd be free and clear from verizon. The other two phones on the family plan would continue as planned with the remainder of the contract. Is this correct?

Sounds right. It's worth emailing their support email and ask. That way you have it in writing.

Also, if you your current is still in good condition, you can sell it on ebay and make some/all of your termination fee back. I've done that before successfully.

Sounds about right. You're probably subjected to the original $200 ETF though, not the $175.

VZW always had the $175 fee and then now $350 for smartphones. Never $200.

Another post where you just come up with something out of nowhere that is inaccurate. Its never been 200 as everyone above me has said. Before you post you should research the "knowledge" you are giving since most of it is incorrect.

But yeah, why are you looking to cancel?
