    Hey guys...I picekd up another phone to use in lieu of my BB 8830 for a while. I need to save some funds and the data plan on the phone is one easy way to do so...

    At any rate, when I activate my new phone (non PDA) on the Verizon site. Will it automatically take off the data plan from my plan or will I have to do it manuall so to speak. I know if this does not work I will have to go to a store or call CS. Just curious because the phone I bought came in today!

    I hate to get rid of it, but since it is not essential it is best for now...if curious I bought a razr v3c used on ebay (I got it cheap so it low risk if I need to switch back since I am keeping the BB).

    After you activate it just call customer service and mk sure. *611.

    Your best bet is to check with Cust Serv, they should be able to advise you on that matter, just make sure that you get a name and note the time and date with whom you speak.
