How many of you are planning on trading in your phone for a shinny new CURVE?
    1)Camera
    2)More internal memory {possibly 84mb or 96mb}
    3)Better spacing on the keyboard
    4) ???????

the verizon curve is nice, 84mb is the spec, but you also have to consider the new 9000 series for AT&T coming out in a month or 2...

too bad you cant just trade your phone if it is over 30days old.

so far i am happy with the 8830

i bet the first batch, as with any new thing, will have its fair shair of quirks and problems. eventho the curve is out, its not out for CDMA so its a whole new hardware.

    just my $.02

I'll be purchasing a curve as soon as my contract and my ability to coax the customer service rep allows me to get it at a contract price.

I'll be picking one up as soon as it is available to employees.

(And for those wondering, no we do not get them sooner than the public.)

as much as I would like it i think im going to have to wait until my contract is up, I just got my pearl about 3 months ago, kinda had remorse that I didnt get the World edition but hey I like my pearl alot. Hopefully then something else will be out, my luck if I got the curve, then the 9000 would come right after and it will rock

I just took back my 8830, (day 26) to wait for the curve. I love the bb and am missing it now, but can't wait for the camera, keyboard config and smaller form factor. Anyone know if we can preorder to be first on the list to have one?

I returned my 8830 within the 30 day parameter so most of my discounts were saved. I'll be using them to get the Curve, hopefully on release day.

The reasons for me thinking of giving up my 8830WE is that stupid BLUE keyboard and the loss of MMS on the phone. I've grown attached to the way it feels in my hand, and the clean look it has about it. Guess, I want to have my cake and eat it!

for those of you attached to your 8830...i had both phones for 30 days...i ended up taking the curve back because of the shortcomings of at&t's service.

the blue keyboard on the 8830 is very hard for me to read at times. also, with the curve, i could hold the phone with one hand while typing with the same hand.

i can't do that with the 8830. i also mistype on the 8830 a lot because the keys are so close together. the curve's keys are better spaced for me.

and i have had the 8830 for almost a year...but can't wait for the curve.

The Curve will also have 84mb of internal memory versus 64mb on the 8830. Room for more Apps on the phone (33 % more memory)
