So when all said and done after your rebates how much are you getting your curves for? I am asking because I just called and got 50.00 credited to my account bringing my total from 219.99 to 169.99 plus I still have my 70.00 rebate which will bring the price of my phone to 99.99. Is this right ?

BTW I see you answered some of my question misty. One thing I'm not clear about though, this might help. I was due for an upgrade but this time around I went with the 1 year plan. So after my rebate the total will be 99.99

Yeah, that's the difference. I ordered online, so instead of a rebate, I got a 70$ discount. And yes, the one year prices are higher.

As far as I understand, the [cough] "retail" (emphasis on the quotation marks there) price is still $429.99. (If you're asking about the tax-charging-price). The new 2-year contract price is $169.99, -$70 online discount = $99.99. Then if you have a new every year, it is another -$50, for $49.99. The tax amount for me was still $33.32, so they're sticking to the 429.99 "retail" price.
california (as well as some other states) base the sales tax on the full retail device price

the way the NE2 works is...assuming you're eligible for the 100$ credit, if the device is price on the 2 year is 149.99 or higher, you get the full 100. if its less than that, the phone will be discounted to whatever price will make the phone tax only after the mail in rebate.

Well I finally became eligible for my NE2 discount and ordered my Curve online.

It should be delivered tomorrow afternoon by my Fedex driver. I was surprised to see a 20% discount on the Email and Web for BlackBerry add on when checking out, I'll take it! Can't wait to start using this thing.

    I love toys! lol

I'm going to see about getting a credit for my husband's phone. We ordered it mid-July and are still within our 30 days. I'd be thrilled with a $50 credit for his if they'll do it.

Got my curve last Friday with my company discount for $105. My wife got her Pink Curve today and I thought the price would be higher, but it too was $105.
