    Taken from BerryReview

According to them, it's been verified to work on the Verizon WE and Sprint Curve.

    8830 CDMA – 8830CDMA_Public_4.5.0_rel48_4.5.0.33.exe

    8330 CDMA – 8330CDMA_Public_4.5.0_rel48_4.5.0.33.exe

Tried it on my Verizon Curve. It hosed my outgoing SMS. Incoming SMS was ok.

Updated mine. Everything was smooth. It actually updated faster than my 8700C and 8310 did with 4.5. Everything works like a charm still. Differences are updated browser, docs 2 go with Word and Slide Show, and Documents folder. And this Saturday.....HTML Emails!

That's not an OS release. That's the Java Developer Toolkit. It's used to make apps for the Blackberry.

Did you delete the vendor.xml file? If so, try opening dm and if it doesn't prompt you to upgrade, run app loader.

Annnnd if that doesn't work... restart the computer and try it again... sometimes it takes a reboot for DM to realize there is new software.

Ok so this maybe a dumb question....

If carriers like Verizon have not released the full 4.5, what's to say that BIS 2.5 is going to be available for us?
    06-27-08 09:15 PM
  25. JRSCCivic98's Avatar
The carrier BIS servers don't actually "reside" on the carrier's network. It's all in Canada at the RIM NOC. They'll all get updated...
