I know this is a silly question, however I recently switched from Sprint to Verizon mostly because of their better selection of Blackberry devices. I purchased the Z30 and asked if the phone can be used internationally and the rep did not know. Does anyone know if the Verizon Z30 can be used internationally, and if so, has anyone used it? How is it? I do travel overseas occasionally for work and had no problems with Sprint, however do not know about Verizon overseas.
    Thank you for the help!

Yes, it can be used globally. The phone itself is unlocked, so you can put in a local SIM card, or go the traditional route and keep your Verizon service active and pay international roaming.

This phone can even be used on T-Mobile and AT&T here in the US. It's got some of their bands.

    Thank you Raino.
I've been with Sprint for 15 years and when I switched, I didn't research that question too well, and the rep at the store didn't really know the answer. As a side-note, I can't believe why the carriers don't push Blackberry, and the Z30. What a great device!
Thanks for the reply, I appreciate the help!

The VZW Z30 has really solid gsm band support for traveling. Used it in Canada, Caribbean and Latin America with good local sim service. I had a VZW Z10 and it was comparatively way inferior in this regard. I was pleasantly surprised by the Z30 (since I didn't really upgrade to it for that reason).

Thanks everyone. For years, I was running older OS of Blackberry and have been very surprised on BB10. Already converted one iPhone user to Blackberry after they thought the Z30 was a new Samsung. I'm learning new things on the device every day and love the responsiveness and ease of use. Cant wait for 10.3.1 to get released! Appreciate the help with international calling!
