    Hey All

Been awhile since I've been here.....My aunt has the Bold for Verizon, the newer model of the 2. Essentially will the new OS work on the Bold? Does anyone have any suggestions on how to make the phone run better than it does currently?

    Thanks for the input

By "newer" Bold I'm assuming you mean the 9930. I would load the latest OS (http://forums.crackberry.com/blackbe...erizon-820432/).

If you are talking about BB10, no it will not. The Bold has many updates on software. Which model does she have?
OS7.1 is the latest of the 9930.

At the time I had my bold I had no major complaints with how it ran. That being said there is no way I would switch back after being on bb10. I only got the hourglass thingy when my memory was maxed out. If hourglassing is her complaint then I would delete some apps.

Or reboot. That will clear the memory.
