I would give my left nut for 7pm nights, actually I'd easily pay 5 bucks a month to add this feature. As you can on certain other carriers.

Isn't there also a pink silicone and hard case? Even a pink die-cut skin would work.

Switching your Storm line to a dumb phone line??? Since you're keeping service then technically you're not canceling so you're right, no ETF.

If you were canceling your Storm line altogether, then you could be facing an ETF, assuming you renewed your contract when you purchased your Storm. If this is the case, I would reccommend proposing to your employer to to an "assumption of liability" on your Storm line to take over your existing number/contract and continue using your Storm. This way your company will honor out your contract and you don't have to worry about a penalty.
I was wondering about this too. I would like another rep to back this up. If you have a blackberry and decide to downgrade to an old dumbphone (for whatever reason), will there be any type of penalities? The line is not being cancelled, but a BIS data plan would be removed. Does the blackberry have to be activate for a certain number of days because of the reduced blackberry price (subsidy), or does it not matter as long as you have that specific phone number still active? Thanks.

Again it depends on where you buy the device.

I was wondering if I add a third line to my account, would that line have a 2-year contract from that date or the original date of the other lines.

Which one, the original date of the other 2 line or the day I set up the third line.

The day you set up the line. 3 of the 5 phones on my plan have different dates the contract is up due to adding them at different times.

    Hello,

My business partner and I bought two Storms on Jan 23, 2009. We paid retail (ie...big bucks) for both of them. Each storm was placed in service on our seperate verizon phone plans (in other words he has a plan and I have a plan). Neither of us was eligible for our two year upgrade discount.
A few days later Verizon comes out with the buy one get one promo. I find out that I can early upgrade on Feb 19, 2009. So, we go in today and the salesman says that I can return my phone and pay a $35 restocking fee to get the early upgrade discount. I ask if I can get the Free Blackberry Storm and give it to my business partner to activate on his account. The salesman says no...the free one has to be activated on my account. So, No buy one get one free. I asked about the fact that we would be willing to just pay retail for one and get the other one for free...salesman says not eligible when paying retail...

Is there anyway around this? We paid big bucks for these two Storms and was ok with that, but this buy one get one free pops up and we would like to save some money if we can. Our 30 day return period is up Sunday, so any help is much appreciated!

    Thanks,
    Jon

Both lines have to be eligible for upgrade and on the same account. Those are the rules of the promo.

Does Verizon still have this plan, and if so can I get it in the North East area?

    "National plan" $34.99:
    350 any time minutes
    Unlim M2M
    500 N&W

I don't use that many minutes each month, so this would be a good plan to get, if I decide to go with Verizon and their Curve.

    Thanks in advance.

All available plans can be seen at Verizon Wireless
I'm sorry but I have found that Verizon does not list the lower plans on their website, including the $34.99 "Nationwide" plan which includes 300 ATM, and Unlimited N&W. I seen the plan that I posted above mentioned on another forum, which for the same price as this one would include M2M. I would use M2M more than I would N&W.......I don't know why carriers (not only Verizon) fail to mention the lower price plans, but they should. For example, AT&T offers a $29.99 plan with 250 ATM, and M2M, 500 N&W, that a store rep. informed me about, however, if you look at their website, you will not see this plan listed any where. Also T-Mobile offers a $29.99 300 ATM plan as well that is not listed on their website.........
