These kinds of comments make people look stupid. I never drop calls, and when I roam, I roam free on VZW towers. So not only do pay half of what you pay with VZW, I get to use THE-NETWORK, for free too.

A veto can be overridden. It's called checks & balances.
Based solely on what you quoted, it is obvious Rican is clueless to our current congressional processes. Earmarks, attachments & other addons can substantially change a bill, as can behind the scenes negotiating. Even the most basic of civics classes can teach you this.

Bill introduced to fund a stretch of highway. This happens to be a very important matter & the president would like to see it passed quickly. But there is opposition sufficient to prevent its passage. A committee chair says he can influence enough votes to get it passed IF he gets some favors included in it. After all, if the issue is THAT important... So the chair goes out & solicits support & the house leader says he will support it only if he gets special consideration for his project...

The list continues until a point is reached where the original project for five miles of highway now includes saving the endangered radial tire fly in Florida as well as the never before seen Arctic Alligator. It also includes funding for a bridge between San Francisco & Caracas so the leftists have easy assess to Hugo. In there is also funding for $50,000 golf carts for congress to get around Capital Hill without dirtying their limos and a clause to give Bill Clinton free access to his favorite terrorist, Sheik Yobooty.

Because we don't have clean articles of legislation & no line-item veto, that $5 billion highway project is suddenly $88.69 billion. To keep the president happy, they threw in an $8 per week tax cut for the masses.

Yes, Bush screwed up royally in his last year. But to say he was a failure & that King Hussein of America will be a success ignores the history of Reagan's successes in light of a dem-controlled congress & the disaster that was FDR.

Let's put it in light of your cell phone bill. If King Hussein's tax plans become reality, watch your mobile phone bill rise by 50% and the service drop off as thousands of employees get laid off. Sprint & T-Mobile may cease to exist, reducing competition.

Poor people don't write or sign paychecks, nor do they make decisions to hire anyone. Contrary to the current entitlement mindset, corporations do not pay taxes. They simply raise the amounts they charge you the consumer. Fewer people would then buy the service or product, thus employees lose their jobs.

its obvious? I would ask u to justify how its "obvious" that I am "clueless" to our congressional process, however, #1, I don't care, and #2, I'm sure you won't answer the question anyway. Nor do I choose to discuss politics with in individual that will disrespect and call our democratically elected president "King Hussein." Racism runs deep in your sole! As well as your promotion of class warfare to the benefit of the rich. Good thing is that in this world, history has shown that progression has always moved to the left, world wide as well as nation wide. So for you, this will be a very uncomfortable place. Might want to change a few views so that this world can be more tolerable for you... just a thought

Check the published rates. It isn't anywhere close to half. Even with unlimited, you're looking at about 25% less.

And, you don't get to roam across the entire VZW network. You get to roam only on selected towers - about 23% of them, mostly in urban areas and along some major highways. Get out of town on Sprint & you're screwed.

Also, Sprint doesn't pay for 3G roaming in many markets, so again you get what you pay for.

And, lastly, independent surveys find that Sprint & AT&T suffer the most dropped calls by far. I think even CU blacklists Sprint for poor reliability & billing issues.

You need to stay in the Sprint forums. Enjoy them while you can, because the predictions are now saying Sprint will be gone before too many more years.

I'm not sure how you do math where you are from but you chew on this while you crunch numbers. I have the 450 everything. That means everything like messaging, TV, GPS and so on. My bill is 54.00 a month after my LEO discount.

You can delude yourself all you want and say its 25 percent difference, and you'll also show everyone that you are full of stinky brown stuff.

An independent study you say? Look around the web. There are independent studies that every company can whip out showing you their product is the best. I bet you own Sham WoW's, because some study said they hold more water than any other towel.

Lastly, who do you think you are to tell people which forum they can speak in? Nobody likes a typing tough guy, so settle down, relax, and eat your humble pie.

Oh yes, Mr. Genius - taking out the 'discount' the Sprint Everything Data 450 Plan is $69.99 - see that here: Sprint - Define Region.

You were negligent in rebutting any of your other points I took apart.

Nope - I was referring to respected consumer organizations, like Consumer Reports, the BBB, etc. I was not referring to anything put out by Sprint fanboy forums.

Don't forget - I am involved in infrastructure construction for the mobile industry, including projects for Sprint/Nextel, VZW, AT&T & T-Mobile. I know more about network performance and coverage than the reps you talk to on the phone or your buddy in shop class.

Lastly, who do you think you are to tell people which forum they can speak in? Nobody likes a typing tough guy, so settle down, relax, and eat your humble pie.
I don't tell anyone anything who is stupid enough to take their Sprint fanboy claims into a Verizon or AT&T or T-Mobile forum. You don't understand what humility is and are probably a paid Sprint hack. As such, don't be surprised when your faulty claims are picked apart.

Fact: Out of the "big four," practical Sprint coverage exhibits the smallest footprint in America.

Fact: Sprint has the worst customer service ratings out of the big four. Internal industry reviews (the ones the carriers themselves pay for) back this up.

Fact: In my state, Sprint customers would be completely out of service in 39% of the state, with marginal or no coverage in two-thirds of the state. They roam or have no coverage in 79% of the state. Ten miles outside of the fifth largest city in the country, they show large no-service areas. Doesn't sound like reliable service to me.

Sprint caters to kids in urban areas. Nextel caters to construction workers & field personnel - but even that market is fading for them. Sprint has shown no growth and has shrunk in most markets. Doesn't sound like a company doing the right things or ready to survive the future.

You may take your lack of humility and inability to reason back to the Sprint forums. Be prepared for the wave of chatter over there as the major changes coming at Sprint/Nextel start hitting in the near future.

You sir are the deluded one.

I see. So no Consumer Reports is a respected authority? Welcome to 10 years ago, CR has quickly gone from respected to a joke. You list a lot of fancy facts, but again, consider the source.

For someone who works in the infrastructure you should be smart enough to realize that service is area dependent. Some carriers are better than others in specific areas. Sprint hack? Buddies in shop class? I'll dial you in on what LEO stands for. I'm the guy who gets called when you are cradled in the fetal position with your thumb in your mouth because someone slapped your teeth in.

Its not about being a fanboy. This thread is interesting to me because before ATnT I had Verizon and while some people like being bent over. I don't happen to be one them.

    ouch, lol
wow what a heated discussion. this is the reason i left. i was with verizon back when they were bell atlantic mobile and i was in the 7th grade when i was in highschool they changed to verizon. the first couple of times they tried to pull extra charges over my head i paid them and laid low. i did alot of txt's and there wasnt a plan for txting.
one day i looked at my phone bill and they tried to say i talked for 4500 minutes. i had a 1000 min plan. i called and complained and it took many days to resolve.
the next month same thing happened but with more minutes.
it got to the point where they were saying i was using 15000 minutes a month.
i ran a test with my best friend at the time and i left the phone off unless i needed to make a call or i got paged (yeah i loved my beeper) lol
i carried a small folded up paper on me for the tally of minutes that i used. 150 mins in a month i used. i went to day and afternoon school as well as worked untill 11pm so i never really alked much on the peak hours. that was the month they claimed i talked 15000 minutes. they tried saying the phone may have mad some calls when it was in my poct etc..... i told them what i did and they still though i didnt know how to turn the phone off. i canceled that day after i got the fee's waived. i went to att and then sprint.
honestly in my area i didnt notice a difference.

Cost = Value. There are strait facts in the sheer amount of subscribers that willingly choose to pay a little more for the value they seen in a network.

very well stated. i would have never left other carriers if they didnt try to screw me over on bills.

i have had the best luck with sprint and thats what matters to me and i think thats what matters to most people.

Racism? LOL. So it starts, any criticism of Obama is because we just hate him because he's black. Those angry, gay-hating, racist republicans! Argh them! It's easy to explained why progression always moves left, because it's so easy to be a Democrat. It's so easy to depend on government for everything. It's also shown in history that socialism has not worked, anywhere. Even w/ very liberal countries, they're bankrupt, they're going into more and more debt. Look at California. Highest Income Tax, Sales Tax, Property Tax but they're still on the brink of having to lay off cops, state workers have to work for 2 days a month without pay. I guess you got to pay for that "free healthcare" somehow huh.

Racism. Right. My favorite political writers are Thomas Sowell, Jay Norlinger & Deroy Murdock - two of which are Black & not Mulato, as King Hussein used to be classified.

The only racism in my "sole" (sic) is on the sole of my boot after I stomped on it.

It is rather pathetic that people with no valid argument resort to the race card or hate card whenever their "messiahs" are criticized. As Hank Hill once said so eloquently, "what kind of country is this when I can only hate a White man?"

For the record, I think Al Gore, John Kerry & any recent political figure with the surname of Clinton are all freaks & liars, too. Does that make me anti-white?

Wait - I can't stand Don Imus, but still laughed at his "nappy-headed" comment. Then again, so did my girlfriend, who has a far better "tan" than most.

Those on the Left typically hate corporations, the elderly & babies - for no other reason than they are an inconvenience.

They also want to reward failure & punish success, as illustrated in the OP of this thread and throughout.

You're an ignorant soul, rican. Maybe there's a bedpan you need changing instead of exposing your radical lunacy with every word. At 30 years old, it is time you grew up.

Could be, but the way he writes, I'd hate to have to read his arrest reports.

Of course, as demonstrated in many cases in many cities across the country, the modern law enforcement type doesn't need to demonstrate intelligence or even sense- just an ability to raise revenue.

Not all or even most, mind you - its just not a requirement.

So you are capable of judging a person's intelligence now over the internet? You are are one very impressive individual. You posted things prior, as fact, yet you give no link to support your facts. You make generalizations about people and toss out stereotypes. I have a bit of a newsflash for you. You don't sound intelligent when you speak that way. I'm not going to participate in your bashing anymore.

People like you love the internet. You get to hide beyond the anonymity with no repercussions, and in real interaction with real people you lack the sack because you are a huge coward.

I feel bad for your children if your real personality is anything like your online personality.

I particularly love the bit about LEO purpose is to generate revenue. I'm sure the LEO's here would disagree, but your massive brain would be too busy making intense mathematical calculations so you probably wouldn't comprehend something so trivial.

Thanks for the memories, you can find a new target to spew your nonsense to.

I love the way I obviously have gotten under yoiur skin. That is indicated by your rambling (and near hysterical) responses to whatever I've written.

In comparison, intelligent souls can easily tell I am toying with you - and you take the hook each time.

My ability to infuriate is strictly intentional and people like you make it so simple.

I judge intelligence by the way someone writes; an advantage for someone who has hired hundreds over the years & fired more than I care to recall. If you write resumes the way you write, I'd roundfile it. Your ramble & nonsensical tone illuminate your mental abilities or lack thereof.

Remember what many already know. Most LEOs are just RaCs.
