    If it's available in your area. It's my understanding that if you are seeing 1XEV on your network signal, that is the same as 3G.

    is that for sure josh? Last I knew it was like that because the 5.0 OS that was leaked was a GSM version that someone adapted to CDMA devices

    Yeah one of Verizon's newest LG phones also shows 3G on the main screen.
