So I got the 8530 curve 2 on 12/27 and I can't stand it. The keyboard is awfully designed/small, camera SUCKS, it's buggy and the battery life is horrendous. I ultimately want to get the Tour 2 9650 so my question is this...

Can I return the 8530 before the 30 days is up and exchange it for a Tour 9600 for now, then exchange that for the 9650 when it comes out? Or is it limited to just one exchange/return? I have a few backup 8830's that I could use until the Tour 2 comes out.

What's the deal with this? Thanks CB.

You are limited to ONE exchange in your 30 days. The only way around this is to activate an old phone (like your 8330's) for 3 days than you can upgrade again without problems.

Exchanges do cost you $35. If you return the newer Curve and you activate the old 8330s you have, they won't charge you a restocking fee.

You COULD try holding out, the T2 might be out before your 30 days are up, but it will be close. And you might miss your 30 day window. I would go with Mark, return the c2, and get your upgrade back, then use an old phone until you can get the T2, as soon as the end of this month, BUT possibly well in to Feb (or March).
