Nope. No word for any carrier, as far as I've heard.

That might be when BB releases it to carriers, but we ALL know Verizon and their updates. Especially on BB handsets

The way Verizon operates with it strict testing policy, I would not expect it to be released until mid January

I heard Verizon already got a release for testing (from a source from inside) , though it really means nothing on the actual release date. I suppose we will get the update literally as a Christmas present?

Since BlackBerry 10 sales are dismal, I am sure testing and releasing 10.2 is not at the top of Verizon's priority list.

I know "beta" OS's are not everyone's cup of tea, but I'd highly recommend trying 10.2.0.1791 out if you're in a hurry. Installed it on my previously stock Verizon Q10 and couldn't be happier. Fixed the annoying bugs and really breathed new life into the phone- super smooth and fluid, very fast. Have yet to find any issues

Verizon says they have no information and quickly say, "we have no idea if or when there will be an update, if you're not happy with your current OS I'd be happy to show an iPhone or anyone of our many Android devices". That's usually when I say, no thanks I'll just go over to AT&T and T-Mobile and find out what their status is. I know it's been mentioned a million times, but I can't stand Verizon for steering customers away from BlackBerry.

Depending on the future of BlackBerry, I am wondering if 10.2 will ever be released.

Except that we know of many carriers that already have it for testing, and that some carriers have already the planned release dates available.

I'm all for a realistic approach to the future, and I'm far from burying my head in the sand, but wouldn't it make sense to stay the right side of sensible for both positive and negative views of what may happen?

As a long time BB user and Verizon customer I feel your pain. I went with the Motorola Droid MAXX and the update has already rolled for At&T and Tmo but not yet for VZW. They are the same slow a$$ company for updates no matter what you have

It'll be here soon enough. Then the complaints will start about 10.2 just like how it happens to every other OS and device in the beginning. I happen to like my Z10 just fine. The picture below is not to say it's Verizon's update, it's just showing the push has begun
