I just figured it completed the download and the install was almost complete. It stands to reason the there is a way to make it complete what is already downloaded. I just wanna know how to do it....

Sorry to disappoint but there is probably no way to do that.

If the file is not completely downloaded and the file is no longer available (the OS was pulled from distribution, it was probably activated by mistake), then there's no way to make it "finish".

However some people have grabbed the files and made them available, if you want to do the update yourself "manually" - you will have to use a special tool to do this. See below:

BEAR IN MIND - this will probably NOT be the version that Verizon ultimately releases, because it still has significant bugs. If I were you I would wait a few days and see if Verizon releases something final on the 28th during the global 10.2.1 announcement/rollout.

Just loaded the clock .bar from 10.2.1.1259. Got the Porsche Clock back. Went to check for update and a 7MB update was available. Performed the update a 2nd time and it wiped the Porsche Clock away. Ugh.

    10.2.1.1925 and never going back.

If you see an update notification and it is the same exact version that you already updated to, all it is doing is either A) pushing apps that you deleted, because they enforce their presence on the device (don't delete them, just move the icon somewhere. If you delete them they will come back any time you do an OTA update), or B) re-copying components that you replaced with unauthorized ones. (ie the Porsche clock)

Moral of the story: don't click "yes" just because something tells you there is an update available, especially if you have been modifying the official install.

I was able to see the update earlier Friday on my Z10, but once I got home and checked for my wife's Z10 the update was not there. Just checked it today @ 4:30pm and it came up. So I guess it's still good and radio 1899 is the correct version after all.

    Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!

The original rollout was Z10 and a 7 hour stress test to some regions to see what would happen to the servers. Then the update was pulled. I was in Verizon today and while it must be taken with a grain of salt cause how much do reps know? I was told, based on 3 different model sizes it will be a 3 day rollout starting the 28th with the remaining Z10's. Then the Q10's will get it. The Q10 is the largest update because if the keyboard it brings many more features than the Z10 and Z30 have like the old legacy home screen speed dialing, etc. The 30th will bring the update for the Z30 potentially. One guy did say since the the Z30 already runs 10.2.0.xxxx it might be a little til and official 10.2.1 for it.

I'm kind of amazed Verizon beat everyone to the punch, first with the moto x now with the z10, even if it is just a soak test
