Last time when i was using the BB map is going to country park, the problem is that in UK, there are a lot of shortcuts to get to a place if you are going the countryside.

If you are using a Google Map, you will be able to get on the proper road with your car and Google Map knows how to take you there properly. Unfortunately for BB Map, instead of taking the best route on a proper road, it took me to a terrains path (Off - Road), which instead I think surely it may do a better job of selecting a route that is not that dangerous. It's also a one way road and I've realised it on the halfway, that it wasn't going right because of the muddy road, thereafter I needed to keep on moving forward as i can't reverse back due to the distance I've travelled through this terrain path (Off - Road).

While I was trying my best to get pass with the car through the big rocks, and guess what? You guessed it, the car was slightly damaged. After this incident, I don't quite trust the BB 10 Map Sat Nav anymore due to it's high risky Sat Nav advices that it gives you.

I hope someone can speak to BB's CEO. Someone which is in charge of the BB's Map or Crackberry because I this is a very serious issue. This time is me, who knows who is next? It might be you because of the flaw Sat Nav in BB 10 Map. Don't get me wrong, BB 10 map is great, but I think they need to upgrade it or doing something about it but something has to be done to it.

Thank you, hope Blackberry will respond to us.

There's no arguing BlackBerry Maps is inferior to google Maps.
Fortunately though, you can install google Maps on your bb10 device until they work on improving their map data providers, I think it's currently BING.

Terrible situation yes. But as always, with all direction giving devices, you, the user, have the final decision as to whether to follow the directions given and the device or app cannot and will not be responsible for mishaps resulting from your not doing so.

I've gone through intersection that had been rerouted. I could not make the turns I was directed to make because they were no longer there. Who would be at fault if I did?

I've set Fastest route and i believe its all default setting. Avoid, car Sharing Lanes and Traffic - enhanced routing is On.

Correction: "BlackBerry Maps is [sometimes] inferior to google Maps" Google Maps is not as perfect as some people want to believe.
