Telus announced that they would be carrying the Keyone but now that Roger and Bell have already accepted pre-orders and have even started shipping them out to customers....Telus hasn't even posted a comment about it. Only thing I've managed to determine is when they do offer it it looks like only going to be through the Business channel and not regular consumers??? Any insight?

As you noted, TELUS only has it available for business customers. They have not yet decided to offer it to consumers, so if you really want it, be vocal. Call them, hit up their Facebook or Twitter and let them know you would like the KEYone to be made available to consumer accounts.

I see that keyone is available for 700 on the business site. Anyone heard if you can just buy outright and use on consumer account?

Sure you can. Just get someone with a business account to buy it for you.

I'll be leaving Telus after 23+ years with them if I can't get the KEYone from them soon.

Just "start" a company, sign up, and get one.

I went to a Telus store after work to see if I could buy one outright, they didn't have any in store. Sales rep did say he doesn't see a problem buying one even if I don't have a business account

    Telus update..
    Hello Michael,

This is John from the TELUS Client Care Team. Thank you for taking the time to write to TELUS, I would be more than happy to assist you today with your inquiry.

At the present time, TELUS has launched the BlackBerry KEYone only to Business/Enterprise clients at Business Dealer locations. We have been advised that the BlackBerry KEYone will be available online to consumer customers the week of June 5, 2017. With this said, I would advise you to check back to our website next week for further update or information in term purchasing the BlackBerry KEYone

Yippee......just of the phone with Telus and I have mine ordered and expected delivery 3 - 5 days. I had the T-Up program but because that was only designed for in store they initially said I would have to pay the $187 device balance as well as the $200 cost for keyone. After a brief conversation they agreed to wipe out my balance of $187 and I get to keep my Classic. Bonus

On my work's employee purchase plan, I just noticed today that the price for a KEYone went down to $50 on a 2 year contract. Last week when I checked it, it was $200.

    That was fast.
