Just wondering if anyone here has tried the live timing page on F1.com?

It would be ideal to use it on the Playbook but I can't get the page to load properly.

    Has anyone managed it?

No luck for me as well. Some Java issues, maybe.

Wondered if it was the Java.

Good to know I wasn't the only person watching the race and trying the PB browser.

PlayBook doesn't have the required java environment for the live timing. Didn't work for me either. No app for it, just for the BB phones and it's 20 bux.

I go to speedtv.com for live FP1 and FP3 streaming on the playbook. I also go to aoso.ru for streaming. I use the speed channel for the race but also have it on my playbook streaming via hdmi to my tv and switch to it on commercial breaks. I'm an F1 nut lol

    Texas here I come!

Just had a look at the PlanetF1 live timing.

Doesn't seem too bad. It's not as detailed as the F1.com website and seems to be delayed by about 60 seconds.

Don't think I could use it at the same time as watching the race due to the delay though.

Funny that when you install Java on a PC it boasts that it's used by Blackberry. Shame it doesn't always work.

I download the free F1 Live app from App World and will be giving it a test run this weekend for the China GP. I watch the race on Speed and have a couple of laptops fired up so I'm not missing anything

The PlayBook is perfect for F1 on the go.... if you gotta go

I might, I ended up going to a couple of NASCAR races instead and burned up my vaca time. The cost of some of the tickets plus the PSL turned me off too, but COTA is a great track.

Although I must say I have been a RBR fan since the Coulthard days...

MERCEDES AMG PETRONAS - Official site

Lewis finds that ?Malaysia is a beautiful country with great weather and great fans who are always so supportive, I'm really looking forward to seeing them. This weekend feels a little like a home race for the team with all of the activities for our title partner PETRONAS.

I'm really looking forward to having my first visit to the top of the famous PETRONAS Twin Towers in Kuala Lumpur on Wednesday before the weekend gets underway. Sepang is a fantastic circuit and one where I haven't managed to win before.

My favourite part of the track is probably turns five and six but it's always an exciting challenge here with the heat and humidity. I'm very proud of the work that the team have done so far and I know that the guys are pushing hard back in the UK to bring more performance to the car.

I hope we can have a positive weekend here and build on the progress that we made in Melbourne and on what we learned from that race.?
